Baking Homestyle Pizza is a tradition at Profera, a tradition that has been practiced for over 95 years (since 1905 to be exact). Our skilled bakers use all of the finest ingredients to achieve a crust that is unmatched in our industry. Profera believes service, quality, and consistency, in addition to competitive pricing, will identify us as the preferred product in our market.
The past 40 years has been a period of growth and new product development. The most recent production line alteration was completed in June 2003 to accommodate our increasing volume and diverse line of products.

Although Profera continues to operate as a regional, independently owned and managed baking facility, we have been, and remain, innovative in the frozen pizza business. We were one of the first to manufacture frozen rectangular school pizza. We carry a variety of pizza products including round pizzas, French bread pizza and our most recent stuffed crust pizza. Each of these items are available in bulk pack, individually wrapped or boxed. While we remain an independent regional manufacturer, we have through the years expanded our product offerings to include retail private labeled pizza made to customer's specifications.
From Long Island New York, to Lincoln Nebraska, to Southern California, Profera's Pizza is recognized as a quality product both institutionally and in retail Private Label. Through the years we have developed and continue to enjoy successful business relationships with a diverse customer base.
Presently, Profera is concentrating on increasing our penetration in the institutional market place. We are a USDA inspected facility with 90% of our products carrying a CN label. In addition, Profera is an approved processor of commodities such as cheese, tomato paste, flour and Non-fat dry milk power (NFDM) through the Food Distribution Program of the USDA Food and Nutrition Service.
Along with our increasing line of school items, we are developing marketing programs to enhance our offerings to College and University feeding, Health Care, and Commercial food service establishments.
